Toroweap Adventure

What an amazing adventure! We've shied away from visiting the Grand Canyon again since there were just too many people including crying kids and frazzled park rangers. Seemed to clash with our idea of majesty. Then Zane heard about the Tuweap Lookout at Toroweap. After a 2 hour BLM road (thank god for 4 wheel drive) we arrived at this amazing vista. There was a park ranger on site who was thrilled to have guests and spent quite a bit of time with us (there was NOBODY else around) sharing great tips on shooting locations and trails. Then he left us alone. It was glorious! No kids, no guardrails, no people save for a few 3000' below rafting down the Colorado.
